Mums Supporting Mums brings together mums, with babies and young children, who want to help themselves and others by setting up different types of peer support that fit in with their lives and circumstances and in particular meet the needs of mums living in rural areas.
On this website you will find information on the project, helpful resources, links and other useful information. There is also information for dads and families with information on how to find the support and resources needed.
Peer Support for Parents
Peer Support for Parents is a new project Outside the Box is working on, which involves talking to parents with more complex needs who might be missed by existing support services and working with them to set up peer support groups.
Over the next year we will be working with interested organisations, people, communities and families to explore what things help support different parents and families
If you think this project could benefit you or someone you work with, you can find information and details on how you can get involved on our project note here.
